Just curious as to who from the original top 100s are planning on making a return?
What format you playing it on?
I have done the switch to pc from xbox, but have an xbox sitting around just in case)
(I’m not claiming to be a pro, I just got carried up to top 50 by them)
I’m not a pro but I was mid 40s TS in the later years. I’ve purchased an Xbox One S today exclusively to play HW2. After playing the Definitive edition on PC I’ve learned that if I wanted to play a PC RTS I would just play Starcraft 2 because that makes more sense. Halo Wars is special BECAUSE it’s on Xbox and actually works well on Xbox. I’m happy to return to the console series I love now that a decent game has arrived.

Good logic, i think i would be inclined to agree, but my only issue is that i have a nice little online PC community i would like to play with.
However i assume i will end up playing it back on my Xbox if my old ‘crew’ re-surface,

Not a pro myself but plan to grind 2s with my old partner. Sadly Halo Wars 1 2v2 and Halo Wars DE (due to skulls and no matchmaking) are dead no one good searches so we are hoping we can find good games and have fun again on Halo Wars 2.
Win or lose we just want to have fun with high level games.

Well the people on the leaderboard in Halo Wars 1 since 2012/13 are more Bad than you think… Nest example are the guys who spend themselve a second xbox to push their rank with multiaccounting and talking trash on the Forums like "#1players of the World opinion "
Main Problem is that the few pros in Halo Wars have a really small brain and a waaaay too big ego really sad…
Around 42 ts in standard, but 46 in deathmatch
back to halo wars 2 for some high level match in deathmatch

Just logged in to xbox live for the first time in a while and got some invite to some HW group thing (since when we’re they introduced??)
Got a few familiar names in there too that appear to still be around.
Just hope I’m not getting my hopes up too much with this game and that I can have any where near as much fun on this as I did HW1
