Anyone have any info about the forge in Halo 4; what 343s plans are as far as integrating community maps into the playlists? or what’s up with the broken file share system… is it working?
Simply put, there aren’t enough maps in Halo 4 to keep me interested for very long. I’ve played for a few weeks now and find myself switching out the disc for Reach, which to this point, I find to be a better game. Within a week after Reach’s release, Bungie were already dropping in custom maps, the file share was absolutely loaded with fan-made maps, gametypes, screenshots and videos. I gotta be honest, my inner-nerd sort of exploded all over Forge World and the amazing amount of content it afforded. The 60 bucks I spent for the game just kept going.
Halo 4 feels utterly empty, boring in comparison as 343 and microsoft, for whatever reason, don’t seem to be embracing or inspiring Halo’s massive and loyal community of fans. Definitely bums me out.
So… anyone have any answers, or is the dawn of a new Halo Trilogy and the end of Halo as we’ve known it.
