So in case anyone forgot where’s the dedicated servers that a certain someone at 343 promised for Halo 5 and MCC? I don’t bring this up as a troll but a legit question. Would it not be better to have them so there’s no lost connection or host quits issues and that way no one gets punished for a quit even though it’s not their fault. No one should get a penalty or a short term ban for things they didn’t do or things that are out of their hand.
As for your " lost connection " and " host quit " issues, a good 80% of the time it’s the player’s connection itself that is worse for wear and will effect the team negatively regardless of it relying on someone’s connection. As for the dependency on said client connection, it’s not something that’s uncommon in a lot of games, as is a lot of console games.
“Promised” suggests that it will be fulfilled at a later date if they havent given one, and I’d rather have them fix/update/add more (free, ofc) content than worry about a ban that someone may or may not have deserved.
Hmm I don’t think MCC has them, not sure don’t quote me.
But Halo 5 definitely does. No matter what the servers there are, if someone has bad internet, they have bad internet.
Although I gotta say, sometimes the servers are awful.
