Where's the 2018 Halo Infinite 343?! You lied 2 us

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmdb-KmlzD8&feature=youtu.be

Where is this game?

The absolute crap you showed today looked nothing like this game you tried to pitch us in 2018.

Talk about bait and switch. Holy hell.

We saw 8min of a video supposed to be for June…

343 always find a way to -Yoink- something up. They take one step forward and then two steps backwards. Honestly Microsoft needs to step in and completely replace the 343 heads or management because they’ve failed 3 times already and most likely now a 4th time. It baffles me how Bonnie Ross still has her damn job at this point.

> I’ve always figured that trailer was just a showcase of the true power of the game’s engine and not completely tied to the final product (besides the setting being on a Halo ring, of course!). It’s totally pre-rendered and I’m personally glad we got something a little more ‘real’ today, even if there were some minor technical issues.

I admire your optimism.

Apparently, the graphical backlash has been so bad today that one of the developers released a text that stated this entire demo was six months old. Then the tweet was deleted.

I think they are panicked but should have seen this coming. This day was incredibly disappointing and did not sell Xbox Series X but I think tarnished the new system nearly as bad as the 2013 Xbox One reveal.

> Haha, thanks! This is going to be my first true Halo experience so it’s hard for me to not be excited.

> I totally get where you’re coming from, though. I just hope the information they present going forward vibes with all of us. The disappointment many have expressed today may change as we see more!

I had some buddies that played Halo 1-3 with me daily back in the day abandon the Xbox with the Xbox One. All three of them said based on what they saw with today’s announcement they might get Series X’s. After seeing the trailer all three of them said nope we are getting PS5’s out the gate. That is why today was so important and Phil Spencer blew it.

Even were this true that the demo being 6 months old, why does the 2018 footage look leagues ahead of it if its so much older? “its an e3 build” doesn’t really sound like a valid excuse when titles like Destiny had their e3 reveal in 2013 and looked stunning nonetheless.
