First off I’m not “bad” as some fan boys would say or “just need to get good/better, stop complaining” cause I can hold my own very well. I’ve hit Onyx a few times since seasons starting in January but with that being said I don’t get that excitement to play Halo 5. I can literally go weeks without even thinking about playing H5 where as H3,Reach and MCC, I couldn’t wait to get home and play with some friends in multiplayer for hours. Now! we play like 2 or 3 games in multiplayer (arena) and then next thing you know we’re just sitting in the party talking for hours on end with no urge to play H5. It took me almost 3 weeks to play my 10 placement matches last season because of no interest. Almost all of my friends who played halo have left after H5 release to play Smite! I think its kind of funny in comparison lol. Not trying to bash 343 but I don’t think H5 multiplayer lives up to the hype that people are giving it. I’ve played it from beta to release day to this current time and still not feeling it to much. Feels like I’m just going through the motions.
But to the other Vets… is it just the evolution of the game that is making people/Myself lose interest or is it because the game isn’t up to par.

It’s perfectly okay to move on, and normal. If your life and interests haven’t changed in the 15 years this game has been out, you might have an issue.
Personally, I enjoy my time in Halo 5 more than I did with predecessors, and my friends list is as active with people playing Halo as it has been since Halo 3. I just wish I had the free time I did back when H3 and Reach were out.
This sounds more like a personal issue than an issue with Halo 5. Good to know you play less of the game now…

Yeah, H5 is boring, stale, predictable, lame, the list goes on, I’m working on maxing my SR and unlocking everything through Gold packs using req points, then I’m headed back to the godly Halo games.
