I ask myself that everytime. Doubles is my top game mode and for some of us that loves 343i keeps sticking the middle finger in our face.
Snipers as well. We’ve been begging since launch. We are not worthy apparently. Heaven forbid we get a playlist we’ve had for 12 years.

Agreed. I couldn’t believe this wasn’t in at launch. Now I’m just totally baffled as to why it STILL hasn’t been added in. It’s made at least 2 seperate rotational appearances, so surely it’s ready to go. Just more of this drip feed free DLC BS that is supposed to make us all gushing with admiration for 343.

Honestly, the DLC is underwhelming. All it is, is old content from past Halo games in the form of reqs. They blow things out of proportion in these trailers advertising it as new content and I’m just sitting here shaking my head.
It is just dumb. This game was so good at launch, and now it is just a waste of time. I stopped playing a long time ago because there was no Team Doubles. The game would have been perfect for 2v2 matchups. 2v2 gametypes are super competitive and get your adrenaline pumping. I have never felt that adrenaline in a 4v4 gametype, your overall contribution just feels so minimal. In 2v2 gametypes you are constantly in 1v1 or 2v1 scenarios, and it just makes the game more intense.
I hope 343i can learn from their mistakes and introduce a permanent ranked Team Doubles playlist.

2v2 is so easy to populate, heck it always was one of the most played modes in H3. I guess they didnt get enough forge geniuses to make maps that would work for 2v2, or heaven forbid create original dev made maps. -_-

The maps are already perfect for dubs, maybe a few less power weapons and than it would be perfect.
2v2 and Shotty Snipers. Why don’t we have these as permanent playlists yet???
While I know the lack of gametypes is frustrating, they are doing it to maintain decent population sizes in all the playlists.
Also, doubles has a much more favorable reputation on these forums than it does in the actual community. Games tend to go the full time limit so req rewards are low per unit time. Don’t forget that when they evaluated the amount of unique players who played each playlist, doubles was dead last behind FFA.
I personally like the rotating playlists. Its gives some variety and is a nice break from Warzone and Arena. Its nice to constantly have something new.
