So I recently downloaded Microsoft’s Halo 5 desktop wallpaper.
It’s a slideshow of each individual spartan on both Blue Team and Osiris.
Well I noticed that Locke and his team didn’t have service tags. (look closely by their names)
Is there a reason why and I just didn’t know about it?

Interesting. I think it might have more to do with the fact that the service numbers for the Spartan IV’s are significantly longer than the ones designated to Chief’s team. For example, Spartan Palmer’s service number is 65287-98303-SP. Wouldn’t exactly look good on a poster.
As far as I know S4s don’t have a number like the S2s and S3s do. The 2s and 3s were taken as children for the Spartan program and had their last names replaced by a number. Being that the 4s still have last names, these are used instead. That’s why Olympia Vale is addressed as Spartan Vale, wheras John-117 is Spartan-117.
No. Osiris doesn’t get “service tags”. Because hunting down the Chief…is a DISSERVICE!
