I loved the shotgun in Halo Reach it was one of my favourite guns, but I havn’t seen the shotgun in any Halo 4 demos or images so far! Could it not be in the game just like it almost was not in Halo Reach?!

Yeah, the Shotgun in Halo: Reach was the most true shotgun.

You have a good point but if the weapon was not shown in any gameplay at all yet then there is obviusly something up.
Maybe I’m just over reacting and the gun just has not been fully designed yet.

This. Also, just use common sense. The shotgun is the human close-range weapon and it has been in every single Halo game and is useful and effective in every single Halo game.
It will be in Halo 4.
