I’m in the middle of making a minigame, and I want to add King of the Hill to my minigame. I’ve spent a good 20 minutes sitting here on forge trying to find the KoTH spawns in forge, and I can’t seem to find it. Can someone help me?
I’m not Forger, myself, but since no one seems to be answering you here, I would suggest: https://www.reddit.com/r/forge/.
Those guys take their forging rather seriously.
You have to use script brains and set up a boundary and then do some scripting to get it to do koth its complicated but once you get used to it you can do so much.
You see, there is no King of the hill gametype. What there actually is, is a bunch of Scripted objects that under certain commands behave in certain ways Emulating the effects of KOTH. Load up the block pit map and take a look at all the hill markers and script brains. Theres a lot that goes into it, its all done through forge scripts.

I just want to add to this. You have to open Blok Pit in Forge to get the scripts, not Block Pit. Blok Pit is the modified version by 343 and is found under the 343 Maps section. Block Pit in the File Browser wont have the scripts on it. I would know as the author.
The gamemodes in Forge are a bit weird. For example: Breakout is still old Breakout. Some of the maps also don’t exist. The Breakout maps are still in their original format (not 2.0 form).
Why isn’t there a koth playlist?
I haven’t been able to join a single game.
