Please don’t be hateful in the reply section but why did bungie leave halo?
was is because of destiny or were they just tired of making the same game cos’ I really miss bungie (no offence 343i but halo 4 sucks)
please tell me I honestly don’t know.
They were contracted to make 5 games, they made their games and wanted to move on to something else. I think they actually wanted to move on after Halo 3, but Microsoft wanted another 2 Halo games - hence we got ODST and Reach.

Like stated Bungie was only required to make 5 Halo games for Microsoft, and indeed Halo 3 was the last Halo made before Bungie cut ties with Microsoft. So overall yes they wanted to make something new and they were tired of Halo.
Personally I love Halo 4, had a great story, the Promethians were unique and original and the multiplayer wasn’t as bad as people say it was. Sure, there were some questionable aspects that didn’t make sense but I always went back to it’s multiplayer.
Everybody has to move on at some point; Bungie didn’t want to make any more Halos, as they felt they finished their story and wanted to move onto other things

They went to seek their Destiny, and then made a game named after their task.
Or at least, that`s how I like to imagine it.

Lol
Thank you all for your help,
please check out my other posts!
I kinda hope that Bungie are looking at what’s happening to their baby, and trying to make connections with Microsoft to help develop the game.
Bungie actually kind of needs this in a way, because Halo is what made their reputation so great, and Destiny practically destroyed it.
Maybe not even the whole of Bungie, just Staten, Jones, Marty and a couple of their lead developers. I just think the heads of 343i need to be replaced by those who are actually competent, and know what they are doing.
