Where’d they go. Most of the emblems that we are accustomed to since H2 are gone. The list that popped up on the Internet lately that’s circulating isn’t official but is worrisome. Videos of H4 being played before the games release at places like Pax and Comicon Ny show A LOT more old AND new emblems. I know this thread probably won’t be seen by anyone that could, or would, give any official word but it is a concern amongst the community among a couple other things that seem to have been left out cough custom game options cough Don’t get me wrong I love H4 and 343i and am a HUGE fan of the series so I’m not trying to complain but merely voice a concern. If anyone hears anything please comment here.
The majority of the emblems are locked, which I personally hate. New emblems wont appear till you get near the level that you unlock them at, which feels kind of like a taunt, in a way… I recently hit level 33 and only then unlocked the ability to use my emblem combo that I used in Reach.
Bring back smiley face please…
I’m also 33 and no sign of mine. I had the Phoenix emblem. Some are saying it’s not in the game based on that God forsaken list. I really hope an official list comes out so I don’t have to keep wondering “if” my emblem will be in the game or not.

Hopefully it’s there. But I agree, hopefully there will be some sort of official list of emblems some time soon.
Has anyone seen the spartan helmet yet? Like the actual Greek one?
I know a lot of people are worried about the smiley one as well. Also in the videos it said there were 117 emblems, some of them fairly intricate, but the game doesn’t seem to have them. Why would the have so many new and old ones before the game is released but then by the time it comes out gut most of them?
Oh balls, the spartan one I’ve used since Halo 2 is listed as SR 36 (YAY) as well as other (NAY!)
Anyone able to confirm if it unlocks at 36?
The way they’ve done emblems is stupid, should have had the old ones as default then unlock all the new complex ones.
I’m at SR 33 and the Greek spartan helmet is visible to me.
I’m actually glad that they made the emblems locked… I dont know why, but it seems when i level up, it seems i unlock more than just armour. Also, clan-wise= our Halo Reach Emblem with the dual swords arent there or they’re to high level for me to see, so my clan and i were changing it and we added a background. AND you dont get backgrounds till level 21, so it seems fair because it aint hard to level up and you have experience of the game. So when you join you got the emblem FULLY complete and the expierence. So its a double double 
I have no problem working to unlock them, gives me a goal, but I do want to know if they exist.
I have yet to see Sol foreground or Dreamcatcher background.

The current list includes 109 emblems. I have reason to believe there is 117 emblems total. There is another tier.

As I keep saying, section 3 might unlock emblems.
I’ve unlocked both of the current section 3 waypoint codes and got 1 emblem. The wiseguy emblem.
