I was intrigued by the architecture of New Alexandria, so that’s my choice.
New York City hasn’t been prominently featured in the Halo series? I remember Cleveland being shown in Halo: Uprising, but nothing on New York.
Anyway, I’d probably stick in my own city if it had to be a human colony. I don’t think my small little city will be destroyed like New Alexandria or New Phoenix, or be invaded and reduced to glass like Voi or New Mombassa. My home sounds pretty safe and irrelevant in the Halo universe. 
Although interestingly enough, Randall Aiken (Randall-037) was also born and lived in my city before being abducted and forcefully conscripted into the Spartan-II project.
If it were at all possible, I would love to live on a Halo Installation! That would be so sick!

New Alexandria was clean and beutiful.
I’d live there or in New Mombasa.
New Alexandria has the best buildings, some of the skyscrapers have cool penthouses on top. It also has several restaurants where you can get Moa burgers for only 7.77 Cr each. Not to forget that you can always go to Club Errera to do the grunt dance.

Seattle. According to Catalog there’s a Starbucks on every block there in the 26th century.
Have to agree with FourthEchelon17 on this one. Seattle is the place to be in the 26th century. Minus the Starbucks of course. I’d expect 500 years in the future to be enough time for Starbucks to actually make a decent cup of coffee.

I’d jump into the Halo multiverse, buy a ship like the Freelancer from Star Citizen, and head to Heian where I’d live among Ancient Humanity. If it had too many Covenant -Yoinks!- I’d probably take my ship to Chi Rho where I’d make a highly profitable business trading goods between the Inner and Outer Colonies.

Never got glassed according to Halopedia. If you read Halo: The Cole Protocol, the Vice Admiral said he was preparing for Covenant glassing. Not that he survived a glassing attack.
New Phoenix. Always wanted to be a digital entity.
