Where was blue team at from h1 - h4?

I’m not big into the books, but where was blue team at during the whole series up until now? I thought we were the last spartan in h1-h3. Does cheif think they’re dead or does he know they were alive this whole time?

-I need to read the books…

Basically he new they were alive.

During CE, Chief didn’t know what their status was, except for Linda who was on the Autumn critically injured. They all reunited after CE, and the rest of Blue Team were on missions around Earth when Chief headed after Regret. Sometime before Halo 3, Blue was redirected to Onyx and trapped in a Shield World for the duration of the war, rediscovered a few years before Halo 4. They simply weren’t on Infinity during Halo 4, and didn’t cross paths with Chief.

Chief knew they were alive, for the most part.
