Perhaps there is a really obvious place to find this, however, I have searched Halopedia, Halo wiki, and ripped through a few other Google searches and the only plot summaries posted are generic 2 sentence “UNSC vs Covenant remnant bad things happen.”
I would much rather play through the game, but neither my wife nor I have any Windows 8 devices, and we certainly don’t have the money to blow on a device exclusively to buy a ten dollar game.
Anyone know of a good detailed canon summary of the events taking place during Spartan Assault?

Halopedia has all the info listed in the game. The only other thing you could do is watch the cutscenes on Youtube. Honestly not a lot happens in the game that can’t be explained in one sentence. http://www.halopedia.org/Mission_1:_Assault_on_CF-32 start here and read onto 30, these are all directly from the game’s mission briefing’s before every mission.
