So, recently I’ve been playing alot more Halo than I have in a long while. During this time I’ve seen special packs come and go. Won’t lie, I am still gutted about missing out on the Reach pack A small sadness hits my heart when I see anyone with the Emile’s helmet or emblem </3 At the time I had about 13k req points and refuse to spend real money on it.
Anyway, I’m going off subject here. So, since that happened I’ve tried and failed so many times to save up my req points. -Yoink!-, gold packs making me think I’m going to get the Halo 2 BR (one day my sweet). But, recently I’ve stuck by my savings and only buy a gold pack every now and again. So, I’ve managed to save around 162k req points and I’m waiting for these limited edition packs to appear.
Also, if you’re feeling generous 343. Another Fall of Reach pack would be nice if you fancy being nice
Those packs will likely not come back. They were timed with their respective releases. Make sure you have all your silver packs out of the way before buying gold. Otherwise, your gold pack purchases will contain items you could have gotten in silver packs for 1/2 the cost.

If you want to unlock any of said items go for silver until you have no more common-rare unlockable cards. I have done this and now any gold pack i buy is guaranteed to contain a ultra rare to legendary item! As soon as I hit my last silver, I bought a gold and got the Intruder (Kat) armor piece with the Emile emblem! I hope this post helps you get that BR and helmet. (go silver until you get 1500 points in place of perm unlocks, then go gold)

Basically the reach packs aren’t gone. just buy out all the silver.

Yeah. Once you unlock all common-rare reqs you start to get points in place of permanent unlocks.
