Okay so you mean to tell me Microsoft couldn’t show off the campaign at one of the biggest events in gaming but they showed a cinematic for multiplayer and a custom Xbox/Controller? It’s literally been a year since we’ve seen the campaign and we haven’t even seen that much. What the heck Microsoft?

As I posted in another thread, this game’s road to launch is being handled badly. Extremely badly.

Think the OP has a real point here. Where the hell is new campaign footage? It feels like the MP is ready and the campaign is not…

They told us we would get new campaign footage before launch.
It doesn’t have to be new.
Could show the same location from last year just updated and reveal a new gun or one we know is in game ie: hydra.
Very suspect we have yet to see campaign again. I guess XO?

They only care about the side of the house that they can sell you microtransactions in.

People would like to confirm that they have fixed all the issues. Before buying said product.

Most likely campaign isn’t in the greatest state and all hands are on-deck to get it in an acceptable state for launch. No manpower or time can seemingly even be spared to give us a new demo or even brief clips.
If the worry is that anything more than that 8 minute demo would risk spoiling the campaign then boy we got a disappointingly short and underwhelming campaign heading our way…
Maybe some news on friday?
To be fair… we have seen the campaign more recently, though in the form of screenshots, not video
But those screens did show quite a bit of improvement over last year’s demo

If its a big enough campaign, you can show a snippet without showing much. Most halo’s have shown parts of the first level or a random segment without much context.
Since this is touted as an open world game, even just capturing a base or completing a side quest would be something.
Or heck…an updated version of last year’s demo. It’d make a lovely showing of how far the graphics have come.

For all we’ve been told, they still haven’t figured out how co-op is going to work, so its realistic that they wouldn’t have anything notable to share about it at gamescom. Maybe we’ll get more details through flighting or whenever the next Inside Infinite is?
