I am very disappointed, they didn’t show any hints or any kind of reveal the flood was on the ring. I hope 343 have some interesting design concepts for them.

If the flood really is in the game, I doubt 343 will reveal them to us. They would want to make the flood’s first appearance in the game shocking to the player, and in order to make it more impactful, they wouldn’t want to reveal the flood’s presence in a trailer or reveal.
This concept of an enemy’s reveal being shocking is well demonstrated in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order…
During the last mission of the game, after defeating the Second Sister, Darth Vader appears all the sudden. Unless his appearance was spoiled to you, his presence must of been shocking, and once he killed the Second Sister, the moment after Must have given you some chills.
Revealing the flood in a trailer would be like revealing Vader in a trailer for Jedi Fallen Order (which I think actually happened in a post-launch trailer), their entrance wouldn’t be as chilling as it could possibly be.
It’s way to early for flood mention in any form. If they’re in the game at all they won’t be known until we start playing.
Dude. We have seen mere 8 minutes of gameplay.
If you hoped that every tiny bit of the story and the setting will get revealed today,
it is your own fault for having such non realistic expectations.
It’s not even half a year 'til release, take a chill pill and simply wait.
We’ll see much more in the upcoming months.

The Flood, if they are part of Infinite’s campaign, should be kept as far away from any marketing material as possible. Have Brohammer send you out a mission to retrieve a secret Cove…Banished weapon cache in the middle of a swamp and then we can get this party started nice and proper.

Well the difference is that it only turned into a 4-way fight into the end and it was well balanced. If the flood would return which I personally don’t think will happen then you will have Cortana who have taken over the universe it seems like with her gigantic guardians which have so so much power, The banished who won the war against humanity apparently and the flood who is trying to eat everybody so in my opinion it would be too much.
This is what I think and let us be honest this halo will not be nothing like halo CE

Either way, the banished should be a fun new take on battling the Covies!

Fair enough…I disagree that it would be too much, but still.
I’d rather the Flood be kept as a surprise like in the first game.

That many factions have been normal in the old Halo games. HCE, 2, and 3 had us fighting against the Covenant, Flood, and Sentinels so it wouldn’t be out of the norm at all.
No flood probably, game is rated T for teen on the store page which means space zombies unlikely. With the ratings is flood are present it made M for mature like bungies old games.

Zeta halo has quite literally the most flood lore of any known location in the halo expanded universe, primordial, etc. If they didn’t include the flood it would be nothing short of heresy. Worst case scenario we get them in an expansion similar to Awaken The Nightmare, seeing as how they are clearly taking a live market approach to the game as they said they would steadily add and improve the game over a 10 year span. It is a sad but likely truth that the game will ship similarly to halo 5, empty, and slowly gain more content and polish over time as most live market games tend to do.

Like i Said i think they Will make a reference To the flood considering zeta halo history but i Dont think they Will be an enemy that we Will be fighting, maybe we Will see them in research pods that the forerunners made but i Highly doubt we Will be fighting them
