Where is the Webmaster email?

A friend of mine has been unable to load the cite since the redesign went live. he has requested the webmaster email. Im not a big forum goer but I do have history with the halo forums. love the redesign! sad my friend cannot see it though. any help is appreciated!

Your best bet is to post what issues your friend is experiencing in a new topic in this section. <div></div><div>The forum and and Web Team will be more than happy to help, as well as community members. </div>

  • Which browser is he using (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.)?- What is the version of the browser he is using?- Does this happen on other browsers?- Can he clear his cache and cookies in the problem browser to see if that helps?

If I’m not mistaken, it is what the forum uses for paragraphing in terms of code and stuff. There’s currently an issue on mobile which replaces all paragraphing with <div> tags, hence my post looking a little messy.

Could you post what issue your friend is running into? Perhaps I could help him out.

He cant access the webiste on any browser or any device with an internet browser (such as a game console). Just gets a “webpage is not available” when using google chrome. The details of the error on chrome says “Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT”. His internet seems fine since he can load any other website.

“Connection timed out” means that the browser didn’t receive a response from the Halo Waypoint server. Since other websites work fine and no devices can access it, perhaps your router or modem is somehow blocking the connection. Can he load the website using the same device, but using an internet connection somewhere else (like someone else’s house or public Wi-Fi)? If so, it may be the same issue that this person is experiencing:

Hi RPK 11,

Can you please have your friend attempt the following steps to see if these resolves the issue?

  • Open the Run window (Windows Key + R)- Type, “cmd” and hit enter- Type, “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit enter- Close all browsers down- Reopen a browser and go to www.halowaypoint.com

This still hasnt worked for him. It says it might take 24 hour for the cache to fully clear. Is that the next best guess?

I am the friend RPK 11 is referring to and I’m posting this comment at a different friend’s house. I’m not sure what to do. I’m having the same problems as that guy. How would I get waypoint’s connection unblocked? I’m starting to believe this is on waypoint’s end. Why would this happen just because the site got a redesign?

I do a lot of web design, and <div> tags are basically the way websites handle layout and design. They specify the way different elements of a page render with the aid of CSS code.

i’m getting
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
