We’re nearing launch, there’s been no word of one yet. Just give us anything at this point. Confirm or deconfirm the collector’s edition, idc which, I just want to know so I can pre-order the game already.
Considering the product page went live on Walmart a few hours ago I’d say that’s pretty good confirmation of it’s existence. Page most likely went live early by accident, but hey good news for the fans I suppose, less so for Walmart.
There’s not going to be any kind of “legendary edition” this late. Most people have put down a pre order by now, announcing another pre order option this late would be very strange.
Likely get more news on it fairly soon.

With around only 30 days away from launch, it would be stupid as hell to announce a collectors edition this late. If they were going to make an official collections edition I don’t see why they wouldn’t have announced it when they dated Infinite along with their 20th anniversary announcements like the controller and Series X console, two months ago.
At this point I believe we’ll only see unofficial “collectors edition” bundles made up by the retailers, proof by Walmart’s Halo Infinite Collectors Edition. Just look at what comes with it, it’s not even curated like an official limited/collectors edition from 343 would be. Looks like they just bundled together left over cheap stock of novelty trinkets such as an energy sword lamp for a collectors edition? Seriously? If it were the yet-to-be released Jasware Master Chief helmet with LED lights that would’ve been more believable.
I would honestly be surprised if Microsoft/343 announce a collectors edition at XBOX’s 20th anniversary stream on Nov. 15th. But that would honestly be the only logical place left to drop it, instead of quietly releasing it only to have scalpers screw over people and piss off customers/fans. But that’s just my two cents.

Walmart bundle just came with No warning, sold out instantly, I don’t think it was viable with a steam purchase(please correct if wrong). So basically it was Walmart made and not 343i made from my understanding (yes obvious collab because lamp)
I have personally yet to pre-purchase Infinite with 1 month to go. Purely waiting just incase a last minute digital bundle or, fingers crossed, legendary/collectors edition. I do not think it will happen this late, but I still hold.
I don’t understand why people are steaming about the Walmart limited basic crap collection box. It’s nothing special and you can buy the junk in it separately. If someone buys that box of yawn from a scalper they need to get their head checked.

Just checked Steam’s page and no updates as of yet either.
I really wish there was one but there doesn’t seem like there’s going to be one, especially when you consider that we’re only a month out.
It’s honestly really disappointing because the Elden Ring collectors edition looks AWESOME and I would’ve spent the money on an official Halo Infinite collectors edition if there was one.
After the 20th anniversary MCC update I have a lot of hope for a Collectors Edition, but it’s starting to get late…
Fingers crossed we don’t have to settle for just the steel book or the Walmart bundle.
They are all on eBay and are going for about $400
Also jumping in here to say that I’d like to know if there’s a collector’s edition coming. It’ll help frame how much I should save or can spend this holiday and, on a more positive note, help me continue to collect every main series collector’s edition!
