I thought October was global double XP for Halo 5? Today is 1 October and haven’t seen it.
2nd of October and still nothing. There Playlist calendar has been accurate until now. This really sucks would have been super helpful with the 152 grind.

I just checked the playlist calendar, and the accompanying community update and didn’t see anything on there about global double xp for the month. They did it last year because it was the 5th anniversary of the release of Halo 5… my guess it is since it’s not an important anniversary year (5, 10, etc…) they won’t do anything this time around. That being said, I still stand by my belief that they’ll do something with the upcoming release of Infinite. It should also be noted that the quest for 152 is hard on purpose, and you just have to play through it and keep plugging away…

At the top of Halo 5 forums. It’s dated 2020 , but all the Playlist have been on point until now.
So… It looks like (I went and looked at what you’re referring to) Stckboy takes the calendar from the community update and just updates his original post (it’ll still show the date of the original). I do it all the time (it the recruitment page look for “thee xp junkies”). I however, when I update the original post, I’ll put the updated date on it so everyone knows when it’s actually from… I guess he doesn’t… checking the actual community update will give you the most accurate information, he just basically copy/pastes… But nothing has been mentioned anywhere about a global xp event. My guess is that they didn’t want it to interfere with the flighting for Infinite and they’ll do something either later this month, or just wait till next month since they usually do something for the week of Thanksgiving, and of course the entire month of December with Christmas… time will tell. But I would always confirm with the actual community update on the Waypoint homepage…

That makes sense not wanting to interfere with flighting, could be same reason were waiting on mcc season 8 still. But boy would it be nice to get some double xp for a while. Im a 126, so my grinds about to start gettin really grindy real soon lol
With my work schedule and family time I won’t be able to hit 152 without the double xp. I was really counting on it.

I wouldn’t say there won’t ever be double xp… they just haven’t announced anything about it yet… it’ll come… just be patient and do the best you can… In looking at your service record… you just need to average a little over 12 mil a week to get there… that’s roughly between 150 and 200k per day. I’m sure the resident mathmatician will come out and correct me now and you give you hard specific numbers (even down to the decimal point as well). Get you a handful of mythic games per day, and you should be fine… heck… even sticking to whatever the featured playlist is would be helpful too (if firefight isn’t your bag). And no one ever mentioned anything about a hard deadline to hit 152. There will be plenty of people close enough to 152 to hang around after Infinite releases to populate the game enough for you… don’t stress about it… just play the game and do what you can… you got this!!!

But if you aren’t really interest to play MWZFF you can try to play another different playlists.
