So I don’t mind the req system at all but where is that special armor cosmetics you get for doing something challenging like getting all gamerscore for the game. In halo 3 you got the katana for it. Or doing vidmaster challenges for recon armor. I really miss these kind of rewards.That makes your armor a bit more special than the rest that you can earn trough luck or real money.

There are none in Halo 5 sadly…
So now I must hunt for Noble Honor…using LUCK!
Commendations give an emblem at rank 5, and I’m not sure but they might have armor when you reach a mastery, i.e, USMC weapons mastery might give a peice of armor or something.
I’m working on nades, got to get like 9 plasma kills and 2 splinters, and I’ll have the nade mastery commendation done… we’ll see!

Except I don’t want to come back. The reality of it is, I’m so burnt out with these cramped maps and garbage game modes, if I even get Security before Fallout 4 comes out, I’m not touching this game again until Forge is out, and then that’s probably where all my time playing will be spent.
For the record, RNG was the reason I hated ME3’s multiplayer. It’s the same reason I hate Halo 5’s multiplayer. Forced replay value, is not a value.

Gamerscore. Post-credits scene. Sense of achievement. If none of those interest you, then the answer is no.

You don’t get, nor need anything except for the gamerscore. Deal with it.

Noo that wasn’t realXD. Yesterday I got 1000GS on halo 5 but I get nothing in return:(. It would be really cool if they update this. REQ system can stay in my opinion but having some armor really earned trough challenges beside it would be really cool.
They really need to implement this. Its sad to see that taken out of the series.
