Rumble Pit was my most-played playlist in Reach. I’m a lone wolf by nature and I do fine in teams but my true love in Halo has been FFA since I got Reach.
Regicide is fun at times but it is simply not an acceptable alternative due to it’s horrendous imbalance and BS circumstances (e.g., the best player in the match is robbed of a victory when another player gets a few kills on a max-bonus king). I wouldn’t mind at all seeing them scrap Regicide altogether and bring in a bona fide FFA playlist like Rumble Pit, but a simple addition of Rumble Pit would be great.
Ideally, I would like them to include infinity slayer with personal ordnance and custom loadouts, normal slayer with custom loadouts but no personal ordnance, slayer pro with preset loadouts, no personal ordnance, no radar, and of course oddball, KOTH, and juggernaut thrown in for some variety.
I could play a playlist like this all day everday regardless of whether my friends are playing. Regicide is garbage compared to my experience with Rumble Pit in Reach and Lone Wolves in H3. I miss it dearly. Is anyone else with me? Also, is there any word on whether Rumble Pit will be coming back?

More likely to get a comment about it from them. Also, bsAngel is VERY active in the bulletin discussion thread right after there is a new one.
In the most recent discussion thread, she confirmed to me personally that Action Sack is one of the hoppers in a large list of ones they are working on implementing. No specific date tied to it yet, but still…ACTION SACK.
You can try having a Rumble Pit request thread and if you don’t hear anything back by the bulletin, ask her directly in the discussion thread.
I definitely agree that Regicide isn’t quite the cat’s pajamas. Team Regicide is better, but I do miss some straight up FFA. I’m not sure about Reach (I mostly played SWAT and Grifball with a buddy) but in Halo 3 there was a Sword fight gametype. Swords…and only swords. Good times.
yea regiced is to easy. plus ive finished a regiced game with 32 kills but some other guy got way less he just killed the king more and won…Thats not cool.
