Its been what how many games now and we still don’t know what happened?

Recap:

As UNSC were exfiltrating to the Spirit of Fire , Anders realized that the installation had already begun to enter slipspace, making it impossible for her to evacuate in time. The installation then entered slipspace, taking Anders with it.

En route to the original site of Installation 04, the ring prematurely and unexpectedly dropped out of slipspace, piquing Anders’ concern. Heading back to the surface to see what had happened, she was quickly confronted by a [Guardian]

I mention this because I just noticed that we haven’t heard anything and even Wiki to find out and there’s nothing?!

She is on Installation 04-C, which was intercepted by a Guardian while en-route to Threshold (the planet Installation 04-A was orbiting).

We are likely going to either get a mini-campaign DLC where she makes an appearance in Halo Infinite OR a sequel to Halo : Divine Wind where we get to see what happened to her in a novel.

Nah.
There’s no way that the writers would pass up the idea of Professor Anders and Dr. Halsey meeting up after so many years.

Anders
“Wait… Halsey?”

Halsey
“My my… you haven’t aged a day.”

Anders
“Well, spending over twenty-five years in cryostasis will do that I suppose.”

Halsey
“I can imagine the freezer-burn.”

Anders
“So um… what happened to your arm?”

“A domino effect from making the Spartans I suppose. The head of ONI is one of my former pupils… and she has a grudge.”

Anders
“Ouch. So… shall we get back to work?”

Halsey
“I will have to bring you up-to-speed on Forerunner technologies.”

Anders
“Oh well I have been working with Forerunner tech since Harvest.”

Halsey
“Oh then this should be easy. Perhaps you can teach me a thing or two from your findings.”

Not a bad shout, but him plus Halsey isn’t much of a mix… I was thinking something more like Serina, but… obviously not…

Would be interested to see some of the other AIs Lord Hood and Osman had with them for that matter

Oh ya I forgot he’s a dumb A.I and wouldn’t…hey how come we can use him in infinite…did they extract him from Vergil :cold_sweat:

Presumably it’s not actually the same AI in terms of ‘personality’, but no reason dumb AIs can’t be easily copied unlike smart AIs

Oh good that’s relief, ya I can’t wait to see the new a.I’s and lol I feel sorry for the ones in the domain lol the warden is going to have a field day :joy:

The fate of the Warden etc. I hope is addressed in an upcoming book - perhaps even the upcoming Troy Denning one with the Arbiter?

Definitely, I’m already making a list of characters that 343i have ignored like our good doctor so they know we still care

It is what happened.
He tried to kill Blue Team with a dozen or so of his bodies thrown at them at once, and then Cortana came in; disintegrated his bodies and then tapped her hand on his forehead and he faded away to never be seen again outside of War Zone.

Though apparently there was a concept plan for him to possibly make an appearance in a DLC for Halo Wars 2.
