Halo infinite is free, and if people didn’t buy the campaign or the shop items, i would understand why they are having a hard time pushing new content. BUT THAT’S NOT THE CASE. A lot of people have spent money on the campaign and shop items, Even if i thought things were pricy, i didn’t mind because i thought that extra money they were getting would help them hire new people and get the game on track to being something great, but for some reason that’s just not happening. What are you doing with it 343? There’s no way you’re just giving yourself an extra big tip as if you don’t have a million other things you need to do with it.
It goes right into Bonnie Ross’ pocket who has yet to have said anything on all of this
It’s going to the upcoming live service campaign structure we’ll get in Infinite in 2024.
Not into the game, that’s for sure.
And this is why you don’t give money with the future prospects of getting something back. You don’t know what they do with that money, it could be anything. So if something’s overpriced (which everything is in my opinion) don’t buy it thinking your money will go back into the game in a decent way. Money for cosmetics probably goes into making more cosmetics.
Hey, happy birthday!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
This is like going to a restaurant, ordering an expensive 5 course meal and then complaining because it wasn’t ready in five minutes. Maybe you should do some research into the complicated nature of creating video games to better understand exactly why it’s taking 343 so long to bring us months worth of content. And you should keep in mind that it’s not like they just make these updates and content in one go. They go through dozens of ideas and planning and recreations before settling on something that they believe will work, and then they test it, and test it, and test it, and test it to make sure it’s not completely broken when we play it. And then they have to have Microsoft greenlight their update to the game, which takes weeks, and then and only then can they launch it. If anything needs to be redesigned beforehand, they start the process all over again.
Imagine comparing 343 to a 5 star restaurant lmao. I see why MS keeps buying all these studios. The ones they own have been doing a terrible job since the Xbox One launched. Forza is really the only good thing they have now.
It’s not a comparison, it’s an analogy… not only that but I didn’t say anything about a 5 star restaurant.
Here, take this: L
I saw their road map. I’m not expecting the content to show up right away, but i am expecting them to use my money to buy good ingredients for the order i made, if we’re going to keep the analogy.
“Here’s 100 dollars for that expensive order, i hope it’s great.”
“Very good sir, we will use the money to buy the cheapest ingredients. And also the complementary breadsticks we advertised on the front window, (Split screen coop) We’ve decided it’s too expensive to serve and have chosen not to give you any, despite the fact that you paid for the meal with the pretext you would get breadsticks.”
Gotta love how when a community is literally protesting with pitchforks and torches the three people in the world whose job it is to keep the fanbase happy are radio silent while the underpaid employees are trying to keep this dumpster fire down. They probably got the hell out of dodge a while back.
That is a horrible analogy. Its more like going to a restaurant youve been going to your whole life and being told that youre getting served a 5 course meal against your will.
Then for the first course, the waiter comes to greet you at the door and says, “Great news, we can get you your first course before you even sit down at your table!” They then proceed to hand you only a single head of lettuce that hasnt been cut. When you complain that you wanted to get dressing, maybe some cheese and onions, croutons, and cranberries on it as well, the waiter says, “We know youre really frustrated by this, but all of our staff is currently on vacation, so you’ll have to be patient.” Oh yea and they also charge extra for dining ware that isnt plastic as well as napkins lol.
Next course comes and it’s a frozen steak that’s been cooked well done. It’s edible, it’s not the worst, but from your past experiences at this restaurant, you were expecting a gourmet meal that got you so invested in the experience of eating, you developed an emotional attachment to the restaurant. Now its just meh. It’s seasoned well, it’s familiar, but its not quite what it used to be.
Still waiting on the rest of that salad by the way. The restaurant has not forgotten. The staff finally comes back and starts bringing the other salad ingredients you asked for. But theyre bringing it out one at a time every 10 minutes. You also notice a lot of the staff is more concerned with stocking their shelves with restaurant merchandise than they are with serving you your food. Finally, after 90 grueling minutes, you have a whole salad.
While they were bringing out all of the salad ingredients, the waiter started to tell you about the 3rd course. Theyre going to give you a “build your own” appetizer plate. You’re confused why the appetizers didnt come out before the main course, but theres nothing you can do to change it. While you’re waiting, you notice the people around building their own amazing appetizer dishes. Theyre doing all sorts of artful creative things with their meals, and youre filled with excitement at the prospects of how this meal will taste. The restaurant also informs you that theyve called your friend for you and they are on their way over to enjoy the rest of the meal with you.
After about 20 minutes, the restaurant tells you that your appetizer plate wont be ready for another 30 minutes and that the restaurant wont actually allow your friend to come inside. They can only eat with you via Zoom call.
The other 2 courses are subject to change according to the restaurant.
This is a video game, not a 5 course meal. Games are supposed to launch complete, they are not supposed to be launched in betas. If a game is marketed as a complete product, and it turns out that is a lie, it is understandable that people are upset.
Actually, she did have something to say; it’s our fault.
Lmfao.
No. Your analogy is wrong.
