Where is the plasma rifle? Me and my friends where talking about halo 4 when my friend mentioned the lack of plasma rifle. Where is it?

Yeah, but it’s not like it was all that useful every since they got rid of DW. Plasma Repeater in H:R was much better, IMO. So, if the Storm Rifle is anything like the Plasma Repeater, then I’ll be happy.

I didn’t think that dual wielding made it much better xD
But the Storm Rifle looks like a beast, rips through people like Halo 4’s AR. The Plasma Rifle was just so bad…
Plasma rifle as a stand alone fell into the back end of the weapon spectrum after halo 1.
Are you talking about that weapon, that had the great potential of being a side arm weapon? It’s gone. :{
I loved using it in Halo 3 as a back up with my BR, using it up close for quick 2-shot-then melee kills. Was better than the Repeater in Reach. But the Storm Rifle will be my replacement for it, a great replacement for it, but it sucks I have to have Firepower to do so. 
Blue plasma rifle and red plasma rifle had a baby and named him storm rifle.

It was replaced by its bigger brother, the Storm Rifle.
As far as I can tell the plasma rifle isn’t making an appearance.

I’m kinda happy they did this because I haven’t really need to use a plasma Rifle since like Halo 2.
The Storm Rifle feels like it can handle its own compared to the AR and the Suppressor.
Had little time to play with during Pax, but I had fun when I had it.

And goodbye to the PR’s half bred cousin, the Plasma Repeater. I detest that gun in default reach damage, but once you bump it up to 110/120%, it actually has a simmilar usefulness to the Storm Rifle.
I wouldn’t mind if it where gone. Like most of you said, since they removed dual wielding, it’s kind of become obsolete. And the little thing about the Storm Rifle being the offspring of the two Plasma Rifles sounds like a true statement. My guess is that the Storm Rifle will behave like dual Plasma Rifles, in a sense.
The Plasma Rifle has been usurped like Aerys Targaryen by Robert Baratheon of Storm Rifle.

That’s just because they didn’t make the Plasma Rifle a real gun like it was in Halo CE, and should have stayed in Halo 2/3. (I’m serious. They should have made a whole new weapon as an SMG counterpart, doing it with the PR was a stupid idea).
Honestly, we don’t need the Repeater/Storm Rifle. Just make the Plasma Rifle good again like it was in CE.
