Halo 5 is 2 months away from release and we have yet to see any major Forge showcase other then what was shown to us during the Beta. To go over what we saw during the beta:
Pegasus and Orion, along with a unfinished version of a untitled “Forge World” looking map, which had flickering lighting and very poor textures on the Forge objects themselves and somewhat poor textures on the overall map.
Im not here to insult the work that we saw because it was just Beta, but ever since we have seen that it hasn’t left the best taste of Halo 5 forge in my mouth. With only 2 months till release its about time that 343I shows us a more completed version of Forge so that the Forge Community like myself can really get excited for whats to come! Could we expect a reveal at the upcoming PAX?
With that said, what would you guys like to see implemented with Halo 5 Forge?

I wouldn’t mind seeing a full forge tutorial the day Halo 5 come out. It would be a nice launch day surprise.
So, now that info has come, and the news is that Forge will not only be substantial, but looks to absolutely surpass Forge in any other Halo game (even Reach) on all levels, have your opinion changed?

Not sure where you heard this…Forge is NOT released with launch, but will later be released in December for free. Following a ton of feedback and user activity for future maps.
Worst halo game ever, no forge, very few maps and game types, sprint isn’t even a fast jog so useless like most of the abilities, no loadouts, weapon balancing is off along with the accuracy, generic symbol cards no customization hardly, maps are big which is a plus, but not enough players to properly fill so team counts should have been increased, no split screen sucks, menues could use work, you have to do a lot of searching to find what your looking for, only thing half way decent is the campaign which you f…d up last time. I do believe halo died when 343 took over, hate to say it but cod lately has been better…

I am pretty sure the worst Halo was Master Chief Collection. The limited playlists are annoying, but I think there are enough maps to hold us over for the inevitable DLC. I will agree that it sucks not having forge write out the gate, and I where the hell has firefight been? The sprint and other abilities are useless because they are not meant to be relied upon and honestly sprint and the new aiming mechanic really does not belong in halo. I did not like the loadout system at all and will strongly stand by the fact that it should NEVER be in Halo. I personally do not care for customization, as I’m more focused on gameplay, but it is something that needs to be in the game because it is so simple, it is not anything that can be game breaking and a lot of people love it. Weapon balancing is a little off but pretty good for a fresh game. I have heard many complaints about the accuracy, but I do not see any issues; this may be because I’m playing on a 4ms ping with a 144hz 1ms gtg response time monitor. I have to agree with you completely with the maps it is nice to see big maps but at times they feel empty. I have not tried split screen but if there is no split screen at all that really sucks, I do not think there should be an online multiplayer split screen, but there should be campaign and local multiplayer split screen. the menus are not that bad, but they do need a little work. I have always loved the campaigns even 4’s, but I would agree that halo has been going downhill since 343 took over, but, even as a COD oriented player, Halo at this point is way better.
Because someone is bound to ask the monitor is an Asus VG248QE.
Yes, I know that it’s 1080p not 4k and the 144hz is overkill.
The XBox One is 940p, and the closer you are to the native resolution of a display the better
All you really need is 75hz because the XBox One is only 60fps, but I also use it for my PC which can take advantage of the high refresh rate.
The reason why it is not 4k by the way is for the high refresh rate and 1 ms response time.
No, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT for console I would recommend the AOC G2260VWQ6
