I already unlocked all new reqs and was so happy about the new update.
But now I’m getting so frustrated. You can’t download the req pack when living in germany (or many other countries)
I always have my console in english. And no, you can’t change the store and download it. It shows up but won’t let me download it.
Where is 343’s response to this? =(

Yea, I am living in Austria and i can’t buy the pack either.
My whole console is in english but only because I am in the Austrian store i can’t buy the pack. And no changing the store to US won’t work.
Please make the REQ Pack available for us too. At least if we play the game in english.
I think you have to set your console region to the US if you want to buy the pack.

That won’t work. If we change the store to US we have to add a new payment method which wants a new address. But we can’t add our address because it is not an US address. And if we buy something in the US store and then change to store back to ours everything we bought is gone until we change it to US again.

If I change my console to US-Store the req pack shows up.
But I won’t be able to download it because of my IP-Adress.
Also I have to fill in a US-Adress… even when I try to pay through PayPal. I bet it would be the same with a prepaid code.

Hm. That’s unfortunate.
I’m just a little confused by 343’s decision to limit it to countries that primarily speak English. It’s limiting their market. The reason might be because people might not understand the dialogue, but I don’t see why they couldn’t just add a disclaimer saying that it’s in English only.

thats so true! Just a little disclaimer that it’s (maybe even just for right now…) only in english and german language (and everything else) will be coming soon.
I was able to buy it in the UK. I’m not sure what the difference is compared to US/EU markets.
The reason you were able to buy it is because of your countries language.
It’s not about our countries location but about our language.
I also tried it through the UK-Store. Same game. Need new payment method + address but even if I had both I still can’t download it with my german IP-address.
Can you guys create a new Xbox love account online (not on your Xbox, do it won’t detect you’re not on a US console) then buy it from that account? Create the account on xbox.com, not the German website or wherever you’re at. If you buy it for one account, it’ll usually work for the other accounts on the console (like if you were to buy DLC it’d be on all accounts).
The announcers are (as far as I know) like every other req pack only available for the account you bought it with. (is this a right sentence? xD)
But like I said. I actually can go to to the US-Store with my computer or change the console store to the US or UK.

OK so the way around this Google the German embassy in the US and use the address and phone number. I did this to Japan to get dark souls 3 early. it works trust me

That is maybe a workaround and it may work. But in the end we or at least I want an official statement regarding this problem. They never told anybody that this is limited to english speaking countries.

I’m pretty sure it’s available there. People in the US and UK seem to have no issues getting the pack. I wonder if Canada is affected.

while calling them racist is extremely inappropriate and rude, they will hopefully adress this issue ASAP
I seem to think this is a prevalent issue for 343. You guys might want to contact Ske7ch on Twitter about this problem, so he and the 343 team can resolve this as soon as possible.

The problem is my game is already in English, so it’s probably because this DLC is region locked.
