I mean money is an important thing but don’t think of 343 as evil thiefs they are doing a job it is not like this money goes to their pockets. They all love Halo, so much to spend every day working on it. That said it is a product that should make money after 6 years of development money might be a factor.
Warframe’s Pallet system as a replacement for the terrible armour coating system, monetising options but still allowing colour customisation, a win win.
Then overtune season 1 to make it stupidly easy then use the season to chip away at bringing over the MCC season pass system instead of constantly -Yoink!- around with trying to make this one work while also trying to sell skips in the meantime while making no progress on the proper fix as a result.
Skips shouldn’t even exist in the first place, they are already making money on xp boosts, the season pass itself and the stuff they put in the store, they don’t NEED to sell skips.
I wouldn’t mind coatings being preset patterns that you can customise the colour choices for, with some special ones having locked colours (e.g. the Noble Team and HCS coatings). Everyone starts with your usual two-tone body/shoulders + trim pattern and everything else is an unlockable pattern in the battle pass or whatever.
Well… they are working on it. They don’t have time to spend telling us rn, or they are trying to figure out what to do. Once they have they will inform us. At least, i hope 
, they have shown to be like this recently and have been listening to our feedback.
The best we can do is to keep giving them feedback so we can mold Halo Infinite to be the best it can be.

So something akin to Anthem’s Material system? where you can choose the colours, but have a preset “shading to it” ie one part of the colour is matte, while the rest of it is Metallic?

They did say they are actively working on it. We can only wait for results.
All the more reason to bring up the issues while its in Beta.
I don’t expect them to respond instantly, but I hope they’re at least aware of the current issues.
Idk. I really don’t. But they said they are workign on it and that takes time. They can’t oull stuff out of their butt and have it be perfect. They have to fix the problem and there is no point constantly telling us that they are working on it. They said it once and now we have to wait to see what they will figure out.
Be patient. The game has only been out for a week.
Our job is to make thel aware of these issues so we can get em fixed
