Most fans were very unhappy with the direction Halo 5 went, with Cortana surviving, becoming the villain, taking control of the Guardians and becoming a galactic dictator. Here’s where I would’ve taken Halo 5 and see what you guys think. I would have the Didact be the main antagonist (not composed). He has found the other surviving Forerunners, and has convinced them that Humanity deserves to be wiped out, as well as subjugating the other species. They then begin activating the Guardians and EMPing the planets, with the goal of exterminating Humanity quicker and keeping the other species in line. The Didact then lays a trap for Chief, as he knows Chief is a legit threat, so bring him to the Didact so he can take him out, and not having to look for Chief. Blue Team and Osiris eventually discover this plan, and try to convince the other species that they must ally together. There would be those who agree, while others either see it as the gods returning or they see fighting them as futile. Just my ideas of where I would have taken Halo 5, how do you feel about this?
