I mean, it was kind of odd that his survival was kept secret from Halsey. I get that she’s just a civilian, but she sure does have her resources. Do you think the rest of blue team knows that he’s alive? I would think that Halsey is still in touch with Fred/Kelly/Linda, and would have found out from them that the chief is alive.

ONI has kept Halsey’s survival a closely guarded secret. She was arrested on Onyx and forced to outfit Infinity with Forerunner tech the last time we saw here before H4. I’m pretty sure she isn’t allowed to keep in contact with her Spartans. The whereabouts of the Fred, MC, and the other SII’s is also uncertain right now.
The distinct lack of John in SPOPS has my mind spinning with possibilities.
Someone needs to photoshop the gif of those dudes in a jeep with fancy drinks in their hands dancing, but put blue teams faces/heads on them.
Because that’s what I’d imagine they’re doing.
