Where do you think the Absolute Record is?

We all know the Librarian gave Halsey the Janus Key to take it to the Absolute Record to propel Humanity. Where do you think the Absolute Record is, and what secrets do you think it contains?

One of the Halo 3 terminals heavily hints it’s at the Lesser Ark. It describes itself as Alexandria Before the Fire.

Likewise, the Librarian in Silentium mentions something hoping humanity goes to the Ark some day. I really doubt it’s cause she wanted us to see a halo forge. Curiously, she makes no mention of the Absolute Record in silentium.

As I’ve discussed here and here, I’m quite positive that it’s the Lesser Ark.

This could explain why the Master Chief is on the Lesser Ark, to stop/rescue Catherine Halsey from her revenge… yet in-doing so 032 Mendicant Bias is revived and the Absolute Record unlocked.

I think that the Lesser Ark stuff will be more of an endgame thing, even if it turns out to be true I doubt it’ll actually be in Halo 5.

I wouldn’t mind if, as a defense mechanism against the Flood, the Lesser Ark arms fold into to form a cone-shape… this could be explained by 032 Mendicant Bias or the unidentified Monitor of Installation 00, that it must be activate via the Control Room… hence why I didn’t do it prior during 2552.

“Who will use this portal? Who will live to return here? And what will they think of this machine that I’ve buried? Those I have fought for, for so long. Those who, it is clear to me now, ultimately will and must inherit the Mantle. I can only hope that they will survive and upon returning, that they will find this portal and use it to travel to the Ark—in order that they might discover their rightful place in this galaxy, and the great responsibility they have finally inherited. They are the last of my children. They must reclaim their birthright.”

Thank you that’s exactly the quote I was thinking of. That sounds pretty strongly like she’s implying the absolute record is there.

Unfortunately we were too busy chasing truth and stopping the flood the first time we went.

Plus we didn’t possess the Janus Key…
