Has it ever occured to anyone that all spartans pull invisible ammo out of a invisible pouch on their side and that for the assault rifle he just puts in the clip he pulls out.

That or they pull ammo from the air. According to lore part of a Spartan’s training involves knowing how to make object disappear and reappear out of thin air! Yeah, LUKEPOWA is right.
Im asuming its all over the armor in pockets and such. That said, i miss the reach customization where you saw ammo on your spartan, as well as bags for storage.

They would really have pouches, ammo belts and spare tubes attached to their armour, it’s just not rendered in game.

Well, the Primarch of all Spartans is Chuck Norris, so they obviously have the ability to infinite ammo, I believe it comes from the runnah-gunnah organ implant if memory serves.

I would love a return to the Reach style customisation, I love seeing the Spartans look well kitted out, I always think of First Strike where the Spartan’s are taping extra ammo and weapon to their armour, carrying backpacks, looks better to me than the typical spartan with just two guns, seems stupid and impractical for soldiers so strong, looking at you Commander ‘two Pistol’ Palmer.
Like others have said, in reality/canon, Spartans like other UNSC personnel, have ammunition pouches and compartments at various hardpoints on their armor.
I also believe I read somewhere, shoulder storage? I may be wrong.
My head cannon is the pack on their lower back. Looks like armour and a hard case. I’m sure they’ve also canonically got some hard points and attachment places. Probably pouches.

that’s why I’ll always adore the Mk V PAA from CE
The Flood describes Master Chief as essentially duct-taping ammunition and gear to his Mark V. Oh and also a shopping cart for emergencies.

First of all how did we start talking about Warhammer 40k and second of all, Pardon my inner space marine talking Ahem… DEATH TO ALL XENOS ORK SCUMMMM
And if anything Master chief would relate to like all terminators in warhammer. Most powerful armor humanity has one punh to the back dead. Terminators can take a couple dozen missles to the face then a bug with knifes for hands kills them.
