I never see these maps in matchmaking. Ever. Making the achievements impossible to get.

Majestic had its own playlist for 2 weeks before the playlist update last Monday. There won’t be another matchmaking update for another week, in which case we will probably get a Castle map pack playlist (since 2 weeks ago was Majestic, this week and next week are Crimson so in theory the next update should be Castle).
I don’t see the point in keep switching these playlists, why not make a DLC Playlist with all the DLC maps on it

Because the maps are different sizes. Outcast from Castle really needs 8v8 where Skyline from Majestic struggles enough with 5v5.
IMO, the best solution would be to have two permanent DLC playlists with both on disc and DLC maps. The point of DLC should be to add maps to what we already have rather than splitting the maps in two.

The problem with this solution is that even with the DLC maps, people will only vote for the maps I highlighted. I can’t remember the last time I played a game in a similar playlist where I didn’tplay on any other than the highlighted maps. A DLC only playlist should be exactly that: DLC ONLY. I’m sure to make up for the lack of maps that there are some Forge Island community maps available.
Yes, for someone who paid for this I am extremely disappointed. Say if so and so spent so many space bucks on extra content for your product, it’s pretty bad customer service (matchmaking being the service you’re providing) to never play on those maps. The rotation is alright but it’s the bare minimum of what could be done in this situation.

Majestic had its own playlist for a little over a month. The Crimson DLC playlist is going to follow suit for at least another month, then we’ll see a Castle DLC playlist likely.

Completely agree. If there are 3 DLC map packs, then there have to be 3 DLC Slots for them so we can play them. I paid for them, so why can’t I play my content NOW - not Next Week or whenever 343 decides on a whim to set it up.
I am very disappointed with 343 over this, as I stupidly pre-ordered the LE H4 version thinking I would save a few bucks AND have all these great DLC Maps to play as soon as they are released. I will not make this mistake again for any 343 game - won’t pre-order anything and will wait until user reviews are out (don’t trust the Gamer Media to be objective either) before I spend any money on a new Halo (I have all the Halo FPS’s on my Shelf from CE to H4 - including Halo for Mac too).
