Been meaning to ask this but why is the only form of FFA ranked and not on social as well? Getting really tired of these HCS gametypes. Any upcoming news that they will bring this in?
I don’t think H5 ever had rumble pit? I was late to the game so not sure. Competitive play is pushed a lot, thats the way it is.
I used to love H3 rumble pit, tons of fun.
I doubt we’ll ever know why they didn’t have two FFA playlists near the beginning of H5, but the current population can’t support that now. There hasn’t been any public talk about two playlists from 343.

Because the game was based around a competitive audience?
Did Halo 4 even have Rumble Pit? I honestly can’t remember.
Apparently there’s a thread requesting Rumble Pit in Halo 4 way back in 2013, so I guess it wasn’t. So it’s not a “competitive” vs “casual” thing.
Rumble pit hasn’t been a thing since H3. Unfortunately FFA has lost a lot of popularity along with Halo in general. Sadly there definitely isn’t a strong enough population to have two FFA playlist. You can try hosting ffa games in customs. It’s been awhile since I have but usually people join pretty quickly.

I hope 343i learns from this and not try to cater to the sweaty peeps :^) Being competitive is fine…just don’t force it on those who don’t care for that stuff at all :^)

I hope they rectify this with Infinite because back all the way to Halo 2 I’ve loved Rumble Pit.

Yes I have tried to purge most of Reach from my memory
Yeah, I love to play competitive but, there are days when I need a break but, every playlist in Halo 5 is competitive even infection! I basically have to play an entirely different game. The MCC is still broken, Reach is laggy and has way to many modders, I hate Halo 4, Halo 3 literally takes 30 mins to find a game, played the fun out of ODST. *Sigh

I play a lot of btb, action sack and H2A playlist and rarely have to many issues besides some lag here and there. You may want to try an uninstall/reinstall, and make sure you aren’t doing anything else on the Xbox while it down loads. Or just wait for the upcoming update and hope that fixes MCC to 
percent.

I agree for most of that although Reach’s Rumble Pit was one of the few things that made it bearable to play besides BTB.

Armor lock in reach made it pretty much unbearable for me…oh you are kicking my yoink…inviciablity button to the rescue… Now some one will come pick is off for a double kill after my lock wears off… Hahaha … in reach I stuck to btb and action sack
