Team Objective?
Yesterday had a Daily Challenge to win five games of Extraction.
No playlist for Extraction existed.
Team Objective, Majestic DLC, and Team Throwdown feature Extraction.

Bleh, might as well not exist then since only those who have Crimson will have Extraction.

I cannot argue that extraction will appear regardless of Crimson dlc because I have not played objective in a while and i do not have the crimson map pack, but i do know that having Extraction as a separated playlist was a bad idea
Extraction gets voted in team objective around half the games.

Crimson is not required for any of the above playlists. I don’t understand your concern.

IIRC: Extraction was part of the Crimson Map Pack. Ergo, only the people who bought the map pack have the gametype available for play.

I’m juggling several different clever, funny and witty lines in my head but none of them seem appropriate.
I’m just going to default to a reference to me having a blonde moment. Because incidentally, I am blonde, and have apparently just had a blonde moment.

Extraction was a gametype available from launch. It just never made a matchmaking debut until the Crimson maps launched. Extraction is able to be set up on every map in the game, it is not exclusive to any of the map packs.
Hence it’s appearance in Throwdown, where no Crimson maps are featured.

It was sent to the place where game types are sent when one wants them to die! That is, the Objective play list.
Notice how KOTH had a very, very good population base when it was a stand alone play list? It died when merged into the objective list.
Notice how Oddball had a healthy population base when it was stand alone play list? It died when merged into the objective list.
Extraction was a dieing stand alone list so it needed to be sent to the objective list where it then actually did die.
KOTH should be a stand alone play list.
Oddball should web a stand alone play list.
The fact is, the objective play list for Halo Reach was almost dead…always. Team Objective play list for Halo 4 is the worst populated play list out of sixteen.
IMO, there should be no Objective play list. It ruined stand alone modes when merged in Halo Reach. It has killed stand alone modes merged with this Halo.
What did happen to extraction? All I have seen is this poor man’s KOTH called 1 plot…
