Where could Halo 6 be announced?

So obviously its not at E3 this year and I am sure I read they said there would not be anything at Gamescon in August of this year.

Is there any other big games event they could announce the game or drop some sort of trailer between now and next years E3?

I can’t see the game coming out later than 2018 (3 years is a long time in itself; let alone 4), but I’d be surprised if there was nothing until E3 of 2018. I am sure for Halo 5 they started dropping small trailers and developer stuff about a year in advance. By small trailers I mean, you know, the “stary night” type stuff where we get some vague cinematic telling us that Halo has an awesome campaign. Then its only in the E3 immediately preceding the games release (2018) that we get actually gameplay stuff.

Perhaps with how big a backlash there was over Halo 5 marketing they are reluctant to have another big ad campaign focused marketing campaign and are instead going to focus much more on the gameplay and multiplayer side of things closer to release? Even small stuff like the Chief in the desert trailer; got quite a bit of flack. So perhaps they want all of this stuff to be far in development and set in stone before it gets shown?

There is a chance we’ll get a direct announcement by 343 themselves, but I wouldn’t hold your breath until then. Even so, I do recommend exercising some patience.

H6 will probably be announced next year at e3.

I’ve come to terms with not getting any H6 anytime soon especially with the XboneX totting about. But it would be kl to get some light shed on grey areas like Steven Spielberg’s halo project. Having been out of the Xbox ecosystem for a while it would be nice to see what’s going on in the broader universe.

Yeah, that would be my guess as well
Microsofts biggest boy needs the biggest stage for an announcement,
and the E3 is the most logical place to do this.
besides that, i can’t remember a major halo title being ever announced somewhere else than there.
