Finally got around to going through the game types and gametype options today.
Am I correct in understanding that One Flag and Neutral Flag arent possible?!
One flag was a core gametype for my crew, and Gamenight wont be the same without it!
343! Any chance of a rebirth?!
They’re back there with well designed asymmetrical maps and the Falcon
One flag, Neutral flag, Assault in general, VIP, Juggernaut, Stockpile, etc. All gone. Oh and custom Infection has been ruined as well.

Concur, matchmade games kinda fell apart.
But for custom games, though it was great.
For a custom group of 6 or 8, that was high strategy at its best!
Ive been pouring over the existing gametype options.
You might be able to me a kinda one sided type of game with Grifball (with a single score zone). Or maybe jank something up with Extraction.
But you are all correct. 343 took out any “alternating one team versus another” game modes.
Knowing how Bungie has rolled out some updates to allow for newer gametypes, here’s hoping 343i can equally easily expand.
What about RocketRace?! Any ideas on how to implement that (and specifically implement the “respawn on vehicle” feature?)
1 Flag promoted asymmetrical maps and camping which aren’t good for “competitive online multiplayer”. Thats my 2 cents for its disappearance. I say good riddance.
