Last time I heard about it was so long ago. PC game also use HDR nowadays and I would really appreciate it in the game. But I don’t think devs have talked about it recently. I can’t find anything new about it but if I am missing something please tell me. If not this is a post to mention that HDR support is important I assume to a lot of PC players and I would like 343 to give an update about it. At least so we know if it’s still in the work or planned to be added.
I hope the next MCC update will give us an idea of what’s to come this year.

We haven’t heard anything about anything this year. It was especially concerning how there was 0 mention of MCC in the first community update of this year. If the team does decide to share any expectation of what’s to come for the MCC you will definitely hear about it here.

Yeah i’ve been holding out for this feature as well. I really hope we get some kind of update soon as to what they have in the pipeline.
I don’t know why this keeps getting asked, when on PC, HDR is already built into Windows 10 and 11 and all games use the HDR that is built into Windows on PC. So MCC already doesn’t need to make it specifically for it if Windows already has it.
To my understanding there’s quite the difference between Window HDR and Native in software HDR. If it were that simple new games would not bother to implement the HDR option in their menus.
