Where are they ? (animals, biomes, scarab ....)

Where are the animals promised in the 2018 trailer ?
Where are the biomes ?
Where are the meteos ? (rain, snow …)
Where are the scarabs ?
Where are the goblins ? (We could have one as a boss to fight)
Where are the hurakog ?

And most important, will they arrive one day ?

Biomes are definitely my main concern. I would love to play in the sand, snow and swamp biomes.

The underwater segments.

The sizzle reel that showed off the engine had me captivated. I’m honestly disappointed those concepts didn’t make it in.

Yeah I was surprised the Goblin didn’t make the cut. They brought the wasp over from the Halo 5 stuff. Seems an obvious option for a boss.

The goblin was honestly one of the coolest concepts introduced in Halo 5.

They would be awesome to run into as a boss in this title in some capacity.

Hopefully most of this is patched in (added to the current campaign experience), and what cannot be patched in should be added via expansions.

I love how the Goblins are like Killer Kans from 40k. Little guy gets revenge. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I don’t get the reference I’m afraid, but a roided out armored grunt was something nobody saw coming until they revealed it lol

I was also disappointed with the open world biodiversity. All that potential completely disregarded.

Instead of putting random dolls on top of mountains that do nothing but act as some sort of weird easter egg, I think the dev team should have focused on more important things…

In Halo Wars 2 they added a Grunt Leader whose main unit was Grunt Goblins. Very much a joke character and tongue in cheek.

if the way the micros are, are any indication, just prime your credit card for the dlc expansions in a year adding all the things that were suppose to already be there.

now what is funny about this to me is i still expect 343 will add these things before cyberpunk 2077 does literally anything to make that game even 10% of its original promises lmao.

Omg I forget that the scarab exists. I miss fighting it in halo 3

It’s sad the Golin appear only in Halo 5 warzone (and in the book Bad Blood), it never appear in any campaign

I don’t know what you all expected. They like to false advertise to us. We’re a bunch of clowns.

I don’t know if I should laugh or cry at this point.

Reading all these posts the last week or so about infinite, it shows 343 seemed to like to talk a hell of a lot about what was to be expected in the game, but their actions have shown otherwise. So I’m taking 343 words as a grain of salt.

A tech demonstration hardly consistutes a promise. Them saying they’d be in final release would though for sure.

What is that?

They will 100% have a DLC at some point, question is when not if

I think the main reason why a lot of the things you just listed aren’t in Halo infinite is due to the hellscape the game went through in its development if you read into the games development a lot of it went wrong there was a lot of problems with management employees you name it the game had some significant issues but none of this is an excuse it’s mostly just a reason why Halo infinite needs some significant TLC and hopefully in the coming months after the holidays the game starts to actually get some of that TLC

Wonder how much they will charge us

it depends moreso on what it would contain. If its just a weather update, I would be surprised if they charged for it. If its something substantial, like tons of cutscenes voiceacting new enemies and etc. Then it would be like $20 or something idk.

I expect them to have DLC annually, though not necessarily anything major every year.
