Where are the weapon stats?!?

Im not talking about something you would find on your UI. I mean more detailed stats released by 343 or extrapolated through testing by commited members of the community that some one that wants to ‘up their game’ would find useful.
For example the sort of stuff im talking about are the following for each weapon:
*damage per round and damage per sec
*rate of fire

  • effective range
*accuracy with sight bloom, reset time of sight, penalty due to movement.
*does halo have damage drop off due to range and what is it per weapon
*is there such a thing as impact damage that forces targets out of sprint as hinted
*how much damage will it do to vehicles
*how long to bring the weapon to aim from standing/running/weapon change
*charge time of a shot in weapons like spartan laser
    *cooldown times for over heating
This is all important information that shows another level to the meta of the game. It also helps a player stack advantages upon himself to improve his chance of survival.

Something else i want to know though is do energy weapons still take down shields faster then bullets and splash damage like they used to. I expected to see more energy/bullet weapon combos but it seems to be rare and out of necessity rather then pro skill. An example would be of a plasma pistol/br combo, chargeing the Pp and blowing shields off before a quick finish with a burst of br/grenade. Im going to have to give it a try myself and see how well i do.

Anyway has this data been released somewhere or is some one working on it. Or are we going to just go off gut feeling and looking at bullet spread on a wall to decide what weapons you want to rock in your chosen field. Warzone play is very different to most arena play, especialy with all the weapon variants we are unlocking.

Im just surprised this isnt happening already as its pretty common in other games and i thought halo 5 is being pushed for the pro esport community (which im not part of but just want to improve my game).

They should just put shots to kill, time to kill, ROF, etc etc etc right there in the menu when you highlight each gun.

I don’t know why more games don’t do that.

The Thing that annoys me even more is why games use stat bars instead of numerical stats. Like COD.

I agree, that would be great to see when going through the weapons.

1 i like that halo DOESN’T have stats. it forces you to experiment with guns to find what works based for you not based on a stat line that people will flock too
2 because a stat line is easier to interpret then an exactly numerical number (for some) 5/10 bars means not too fast, but not too slow. this is the obvious answer.

Im wondering if halos weapons are more meta balanced then we know. I really believe they were made with purposes in mind based on how they were used in the last 5 halo games. Scrubs and try hards will flock to what ever hard core gamers say is good but knowing when something is advantageous to use and when to ditch and change tactic is vital to play.
I just dont want to play a game of shoog what ever gun i have till im out of ammo, pick up another gun and repeat till end game. Halo and warzone in particular have so much more to it then that simple play style.

…and when in doubt, use the Needler!!
