Where are the Spartans we KNOW?!🤭

same with osiris… like they’re just on ā€˜a mission’… surely all hands on deck would’ve been wise?
again, cortana has control of the guardians and any/all AI (which was most) whom joined her side. that’s big cause for alarm. on that note… would that include all the superintendants of places? like in momnassa? because if so, then that’s a MAJOR cause for alarm. not world ended, but could cause a lot of issues. more so since cortana seemed to be going against everyone, make them submissive (correct me if i’m wrong, i paid half attention near the end of h5) to her, since she has the mantal of responsibility. at least palmer stayed with lasky… but not the other teams whom have the same motive as ā€˜stop cortana’ was ordered to help? seemed like they very much underestimated a very smart AI, even tho she has shown to never be underestimated

Red team, the Spartans aboard the spirit of fire.

Does he tho? In the life pod or bird or whatever, lasky was giving instructions for the crew to abandon the ship but his was cut short because of God knows what. I really hoped that he wasn’t just killed like that because we literally don’t know his whereabouts right after that moment

Isnt Osiris dead? Lockes helmet is on Hyperions shoulder

i dunno, i havn’t fully gotten that far into infinite. but as far as halo 5 goes… no, they were alive and well infact, rescuing chief and blue team. and so far as i can tell in infinite… locke i think was told to go and do something else, in one of the logs. go on a mission or something, with no mention of his team

A lot of people weren’t fans of those characters. I think 343 is treading lightly and including some things and removing others, hoping to craft a story that can be enjoyed by fans of new and old Halo games.

wait, who’s hyperion?

From what I understand Osiris is dead. Blue team is elswhere Red team is on the Ark…

That’s what broke me in halo 5. Blue team together at last in a halo game and they only got 3 missions. They needed a bigger involment.

Appealing to both will end up appealing to none.

Word on the wire claims that 343 is working on individual voice lines for when they inevitably release Co-op. Lines that will be shared between co-op player characters about Blue Team. So we will likely get to have a member of Blue Team, or even all of them on the Zeta Halo during the Campaign, depending on how extensive cooperative play ends up being. As for Locke and Osiris, they’re alive somewhere, this is proven via the Halopedia that exists if one were to look them up. Palmer is likely with Lasky, somewhere alive and kicking, and they likely have Halsey with them, as mentioned by Lasky in one of the audio logs (I think it was the file at FOB Bravo). I’m more curious about the state of the Infinity. Did it crash on the Halo as well or is it completely destroyed? As for Red Team. We don’t really need to know their fate. Given HW2 showed that they encountered Atriox, so it’s likely they’re dead somewhere currently.

If you pick up the audiologs in the campaign, you learn that Blue Team was off on another mission when everything went down at the UNSC Infinity when it reached Zeta Halo (and Dr. Halsey was NOT happy with this splitting of her Spartans). Spartan Locke is mentioned as well in the audiologs on occassion.

Future campaign Acts will likely possess Blue Team and other notable Spartans coming back. Personally, I am waiting to see how Noble Team would look like. Since June-A266 survived Halo Reach and Spartan Rosenda-A344 was supposed to be a replacement for Emile as Noble-4 should he perform too recklessly requiring a transfer or be marked as ā€œM.I.A.ā€ like all fallen Spartans. Like would Noble Team consist of the best of the Spartan-IIIs that remain, will there be Spartan-IIs in the mix or Spartan-IVs that have impressed Jun? Or will Jun and Rosenda be just a Spartan Headhunter pair and Noble Team is converted into just being a Headhunter team?

If I recall, Jun took a high position inside the new Spartan Operations. I don’t see him taking field operations all that much anymore. Unless warranted, as in their base under attack, or some special mission. If I recall, he’s the Chief of Staff of Spartan Operations. Either training a group of people or on the Security Council itself, I believe.

Yeah. He was relegated to being a recruiter. But I doubt that since what happened in Halo 5 and the loss of the UNSC Infinity that UNSC Brass and ONI would allow for a Spartan to be off the field in such a dire situation.

So I am hoping that we get a campaign DLC where we play as a member of Noble Team with a callback to Halo Reach, where now Noble Team is a 4 man squad; with Jun as Noble -1, Rosenda as Noble-2, and some other Spartan as Noble-3 with the player being Noble-4, the new replacement and possibly the only Spartan-IV among the threes who has to prove him/herself to the other two teammates. Meanwhile Jun already has respect for you, since he is the one who recruited you.

Or something along those lines.

Jun is (This is coming from the source at Halopedia), missing in action. As The Created did attack the facility he was at. I doubt he’d be gunning for the Zeta Halo anytime soon, even if he did survive. He’s more than likely surviving elsewhere.

Honestly, it is up to 343 when they make Campaign DLCs of what happens to their star characters. Given that Joseph Staten is writing the game again, I am pretty sure he knows better than to write like Brian Reed and kill off star characters without reason.

Only time will tell. I do look forward to seeing how they write it though and who, if anyone, else gets brought in. As the whole event of Zeta Halo is essentially an open book. Albeit a partially linear book, but still a book.

…all books are linear…page 1 to page 300, prologue to epilogue.

I’m just concerned about what happened with Lasky and the others from Infinity. As according to the audiologs so far (As I’m not that far into the game), there’s no mention of what happens to him.

So far the audiologs just show the events leading up to the game with the interactions between the star characters. All other audiologs are of stuff that happens to the marines in the 6 months since the attack.
