We’ve seen so many references to the Forerunner/Ancient Human war recently and especially in the found data on Requiem. This war apparently lasted millenia and you’d think that a galaxy spanning conflict would have left evidence of ancient human installations and tech just as it left remnants of Forerunner installations and tech all over the place. The ancient humans also encountered the flood long before the forerunners and its not beyond the bounds that they may have had some ongoing research, intel or advanced weaponry worth searching for and salvaging.
So, where did it all go?
Some possibilities for a rich vein of future storylines in there perhaps?
I think the ancient structure in The Babysitter was ancient human. I could be totally wrong though.

Like I said, I could be completely wrong. I just think it could be because the buildings don’t look like any kind of forerunner architecture we’ve ever seen, and I don’t think the covenant would build a refinery or whatever it was anywhere even near the buildings if it was a forerunner relic (to them that’d be like building a factory in the garden of eden). Plus the statue at 5:46 looks human.
