I have not seen one phaeton in warzone yet(players driving phaetons, not AI). Same with the dmr. Did 343 remove these to balance out the gameplay or what?

I don’t know about the Phaeton, but the DMR is in. I don’t have the original DMR, but I do have the Level 8 variant with the longer ranged scope and the bayonet attachment

Yeah. Is the dmr a loadout weapon or something? Are player driving phaetons allowed in warzone?
Phaeton is one of those rediculasly hard cards to find. And seeing how powerful it was in E3, I think 343I bumped up its rarity

The DMR is a loadout weapon, yes
So you can get a DMR from a REQ pack, but what kind of weapon is it? Does it turn into a loadout weapon you can choose to spawn with indefinitely (once you reach the REQ level for it of course). Or is it a power weapon you must purchase every time you die?

The 5 loadout weapons in the game are: AR, Magnum, BR, SMG, and DMR, meaning once you reach the REQ level for it, you keep it every time you spawn

Well, that’s stupid. I mean, they add an amazing vehicle to this game, and there is a good chance most people won’t be able to drive it in warzone. Can’t 343 just nerf it, and increase the chance of getting it?
It’s rare I’m sure
But just remember when you finally get one after weeks of playing it will last less than a minute before being shot down at your home base and then you will shrug and forget you even got it.
What I want to know is where are the other rifle loadout options
I drove a phaeton last night, got it from a ultra rare random vehicle.
I have seen 1 phaeton and it was I believe my second game of warzone. It scared the hell out of me because I haven’t touched campaign and don’t know anything about it. ie. crit spots. But the guy driving is was not very good because it was shot down rather quickly, so I’m not too sure how powerful it really is.

I received this cert in a gold pack yesterday and quickly tried it out the first time I hit req level 8. It’s nerve-racking to drive because everyone is shooting at you but it deals damage. I was up for 45 seconds or so before being railgunned. Oni Scorpion is the best legendary req I’ve used so far. Fires cannon rapidly and takes a lot of damage.
I’ve got an ultra rare DMR it’s REQ lvl 7 but it has a BR sight and a silencer I got it early on in a gold pack.
Both are really rare so…

Maybe people are saving them up because there so rare, that’s what I would do if I got a phaeton and the certification for it.
Only seen one once, minus the one that spawn via AI the map “Raid on Apex 7”.

Got four right off the bat but none since. Hard to consider using them because level 8 usually comes late when the match is already decided. It’s basically a middle finger req.
