I don’t know if it’s just me, but every time when I play Halo 4 I feel that no one plays that game any more, and when I see how many people are playing it’s about of 17.000 people, and I wonder, in Halo 3 times had a lot of more people playing !

While this is part of the loss in players, it is not the only cause. CoD, the FPS juggernaut in recent years, has seen a deflation in its player-base as well.
because 343 absolutely crashed and burned on the multiplayer and they try and lie about it to make them look good they need to stop this random -Yoink- and make halo the COMPETITIVE arena shooter it once was not some other fun easy kiddie fps we already have call of duty and its sad how even thats more competitive than h4.
i would personally pay $60 for a h3 clone with all new maps as well as some old ones and all new graphics and more customization. thats just me.
All the other people are actually playing games that are true to their core. I recently have gone back to some Dark Souls. I also picked up GTA and Trials Evolution for $10 each so I am playing those as well. Hell I even play Battlefield occasionally and I don’t even like Battlefield 3 that much, but at least it plays like Battlefield should. No one on my friend list even plays this game anymore.

I’m trying to stay loyal to Halo but it’s becoming harder and harder.
I can’t even find anyone to run with in Matchmaking.
Every Halo fan I know just wants Halo to return to its multiplayer roots.
And the majority of fans I don’t know but see on various sites want the same thing.
Population is registered in a different way in respect to previous titles.
Also, Customs>>>Matchmaking both from a fun and competitive point of view, all my friends play customs all day. Hopefully the CST will bring some people back.

even so with the gutted forge options that isn’t nearly as viable as Halo 3. Halo 4 would probably more viable if it had a great custom and forge system, but it really has the polar opposite. It has worse custom options than 3 and a worse forge than reach, how did they manage that?
