I’m played a couple games of Invasion and I’ve yet to run into any of the new Invasion maps from the June MM update in the voting process. Isn’t the June update supposed to go into effect today?
It is only 6:03AM for 343i, it will be another few hours before the June update is put into effect.
I hope they get to it soon. Those new maps look really great and it’s nice to get something fresh in Invasion.
I doubt the update is out yet.

The update isn’t out yet, please be patient.
Things seem poorly managed if they can’t get the update out by this point. It’s already noon, the time for it to launch has certainly passed and I’m pretty sure the entire 343 staff isn’t busy with E3 stuff and can’t launch the June update. Also, E3’s hype is not an excuse to slack on the update. People still play Reach and look forward to matchmaking updates regardless of E3 stuff.

Excuse me, but you really need to cool your jets. The job isn’t amazingly easy, and it is certainly not fully automated. These are actual people, who have to actually do their jobs. When it hits 6pm PDT, then it’s late, but that’s still no reason to complain. It involves a lot of work to keep Reach running in the first place, so you owe these people a lot of respect for working on Reach, Halo 4, and at one point Halo Anniversary all at the same time. They could have dropped support for Reach any time they wanted to, but they didn’t.

lolz@ cool your jets, I haven’t heard that in a while, may have to bring it back out. What harm could it do? I say Bee’s Knee’s, Okie Dokie, Hells Bells, The pitts, and countless others. I think i will add that one to the list.
The maps are up in Invasion and they look pretty cool. The only thing I suggest is you play with a team if you can because the population is infested with people who don’t usually play invasion so they have no idea what to do half of the time. I literally had a guy carrying the core and he was about 10 feet from capturing it. I don’t know what was going through his head but he went in the complete opposite direction, was walking around in circles, and had no idea what to do. So again just make sure to play with a team or get used to some clueless teammates.
The new maps are a joke - absolutely linear gameplay, and completely unbalanced. The original invasion maps were very original and well thought-out. These are literally just obstacles thrown into the middle of the Hemorrhage map. Since invasion is…actually no, now I can say ‘was’…the only mode I played every day, I’m a bit upset. The playlist is essentially ruined. So, if these are the kind of crap maps that 343 is coming out with, there is no way I’ll be buying Halo 4.
It’s out right now in some countries. Just wait a few more hours and it should be live.
