Halo is known for its awesome community but no one is talking in game! I can go on COD (rage COD) and 70% of people have a mic but in Halo your lucky to get 20% in any playlist, gaming is so much more fun when talking to randoms and working as a team.
In Reach there was a search for mic option (I don’t think it worked very well) but it was a good idea!
Or maybe a mic only playlist?
If my mic is on it’s in party chat with friends. If I am playing alone I don’t use a mic and have everyone muted.
Most people with mice are in party chat, talking to people they actually want to talk to.

Since 343 made the game only for casuals who don’t care about winning and 3 year olds, nobody uses mic’s anymore.
Yee it’s so annoying when I have nobody to rage at.

more like people got sick of try hards and raging man-children.
After years of listening to people rage at their own team, chatter inanely, sing into the mic, eat the mic, let their children cry or dogs bark in the background, and the stereotypical racist/homophobic/sexist 12 year olds I’ve found it just makes for a better experience to just start a party by myself before I start playing any multiplayer games and let my friends join in if they want. It’s faster than having to mute everybody who is annoying. One time I had to listen to an entire episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians…
