Where are the matchmaking features, 343?

Where is the ping filter? Where is the region/server selection? Where is the priority to finding games in your own region over being shafted into playing with upwards of 500 ping on a server on the other side of the globe?

While the system in place exists to serve NA players by placing nearly everyone else into their servers, the rest of the world is having to deal with high ping matches, where our bullets get eaten by the netcode, we start taking damage long before the enemies start shooting at us and keep taking damage long after we get into cover, where we keep getting rubberbanded all across the map while trying to walk on a straight line, where the servers only register our inputs long after we press them.

It’s been 6 months and the game still lacks basic industry standard matchmaking features while 343’s blog posts boast about the current systems in place meeting player expectations and how their supposed fixes led to a perfect matchmaking experience. Newsflash, 343, unless you choose to only hear feedback from your NA players, this is not meeting player expectations. FAR FROM IT.

Yea server selection should have been in season 2 launch at latest lol. Idk how some of you play at 150+ ping. Just going from 30 ping to 70 - I feel like I drop from onyx level performance to platinum.
