Why can’t I be an Elite in multiplayer like the other Halos?
Well, thats the same question as, why is there no Infection, why are there so few maps and so on
This was asked years ago when 4 came out. For once, it’s not 343’s fault. In Halos 1-3, Elites were the same size as humans, so it didn’t really matter which one you were. In Halo Reach, Bungie made the Elites their “true” size, which is around 8 feet. The average Spartan is around 7 feet. The Spartans had an easier time killing them because of how large their hit box was. That’s why it was removed for Halo 4, and now 5

Also, the Covenant’s role is a bit smaller this time around, I feel.
