Sorry if I’m missing something here, but are the hunters going to even be in Halo 4 at all? I don’t think any pics of them have been leaked. I don’t care about the brutes, because canonically, they all deserted after the Arbiter killed Truth so they shouldn’t be in Halo 4. But anyway, I really, really hope the hunters appear in halo 4. They have always been my favorite Covenant and it has been very interesting to see how much they have changed from game to game. Plus it would be friggin sweet to watch them fight the Prometheans. Sorry if this has already been answered but I haven’t even seen anyone address this topic.

I dont have any proof of hunters being in halo 4, but it would be stupid not to.
Hunters are basically part of the covenant, so it would be like stripping grunts away from the game, it would just be plain stupid. I do believe hunters wont be the biggest and badest thing in the game, but im sure they will make an appearance owning the promethians with their mini scarab gun thing lol.
Besides, 343 will have many people to answer to if there arent hunters lol.

Nothing seen about Hunters yet. In the story, they were only really in the Covenant for the technology and out of respect for the Elites (who they resemble in personality, somewhat); they never really cared for the Prophets. After the Covenant broke apart, they might have taken as much stuff as they could and taken off to Te to make their own society. That or they stayed with the Elites
I think Hunters are awesome, but to be honest, I’d rather have more focus on Forerunner enemies rather than the old Covenant. Elites, Jackals, and Grunts are fine, if they’re basic enough, but Forerunners should be the focus on a Forerunner world.

I’m pretty sure they’ll be in the game. The rest of the Covenant are in the game, or at least the ones we fought in Halo CE (Grunts, Jackals, Elites and Hunters). We didn’t see any Jackals until E3 after all.
