where are the funny marines and the covenant?

i just cant find any humor in halo 4, halo 4 doesn’t have these funny lines here’s halo 3 funny lines http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw7gbAjGBu0 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sws9r9i2v38 and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=cxbm9g-VBrs&feature=fvwp

343 Barely finished the game in time, I don’t think they had the time to add Easter eggs.

There’s a few Easter eggs scattered throughout Halo 4’s campaign. But they’re few and not too impressive.

We need another Scarab gun level Easter egg.

that’s another reason why halo 4’s campaign is boring. (no offence 343 industries)

I thought Conan O’brien & Andy Richter were particularly hilarious…

not hilarious to me…

It’s weird. Halo 2 was probably the least finished and most glitchy, problematic Halo game on launch. They admitted that they had to just start cutting stuff at random because they mismanaged their time horribly. And yet it is the golden era of Halo easter eggs. No game has lived up to Halo 2 easter egg-wise since.

> I thought Conan O’brien & Andy Richter were particularly hilarious…

Really? Cause Conan and Andy voice acted a bunch of funny lines for Halo 4, but 343i chose only to pick the least funniest. It’s like 343i went out of there way to make sure that easter egg was not funny.

Wasted potential. . .

Back on topic, in the hangar on the mission ‘Shutdown’, if you stare at some of the marines, they’ll mention like the Grenade Launcher vs. Sticky Detonator debate, the noob combo, and one marine told Master Chief that his kid has a poster of the Chief on his wall.

As for funny Covenant. . . Yeah, those died after Halo 3, sadly. I don’t understand why 343i insists we have Covenant who speak their own languages. Ask any Halo fan, I’ll bet the overwhelming majority of them would prefer they speak English, or at least just the Grunts.

so true what your saying.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING BACK ENGLISH SPEAKING COVENANT!. I miss the grunts so much.

i cant find nothing funny in halo 4. (no offense 343 industries)

Besides bungie no game developer is going do that, they take there jobs WAY to serously

Halo used to be funny, cheesy sci-fi like Starship Troopers (mostly the movie). Now Halo is a grim dark Lovecraftian tale (not necessarily bad, but not what Halo was).

o.O; Uhhh…You haven’t met Blizzard Entertainment king of trolls and pop references? They have references to Tenacious D, Star wars, Kingdom hearts, Indiana Jones and a host of other things.

Gearbox did a ton of spoofs with Borderlands 2, Same with riot games, Capcom, and a host of other companies.

Easter Eggs are apart of gaming, some more clever than others.
